DH is now helping

DH promised me today that he would help me by making healthy dinners.  I think I gained back what weight I lost but I'm not sure because I have thought that before and been wrong.  I dressed nice today, in a pretty shirt and jeans.  I wore earrings even and a necklace.  Since we went to the park I also wore my Medic Alert necklace.  I want to start measuring out how much I eat, but I obviously didn't get to start that today.

I ate today:

prunes
crackers
blackened chicken
cream corn

Today

Today I feel fatter than I did yesterday.  I could probably eat a whole bag of prunes and it wouldn't help.  I hate IBS!  Today my stomach in my jeans feels very tight.

I ate this today:

2 cookies
2 bowls fiber cereal with skim milk
grapefruit
fish sticks
macaroni & shells
ketchup

In the mirror again...

I have a great reason to be in the mirror!  I have either lost weight or moved the weight around, though I suspect I've lost weight.  I can fit in my shorts I couldn't before as well as my knee braces.  Guess what!  My loose skin I earned by losing so much weight had plumped up when I gained.  Now they are de-plumping and my skin is looser again.  I am so excited, it made my day yesterday and I couldn't stay out of the mirror!

Eating again

We got our disability money in and have been using that to buy groceries since the first.  So I haven't gone to bed hungry in the last few days.  That is really, really nice.  I am trying to remember not to go wild with food when we finally do get some because that will cause me to gain weight for sure.  DH was going to the soup kitchen in the evenings and bringing me home a meal.  The afternoon soup line is somewhere else and they don't allow DH to bring any food home to me even though I'm nearly homebound so I can't go myself.  When he does go he sneaks food home for me.  Since the blizzard no one can get to the soup kitchen so we've been supplying the house of six with food from our disability money of two disabled people.  I'm not getting onto anyone, I'm just saying it is hard and with our disability money and just us two, DH and I are well below poverty level.  So when we support six people (including the two of us) the "system" we have breaks.

I think I'm still losing weight.  I will know when I go to see Dr. P. at his office again, because I'm going by his scale.
